Quantum key distribution (QKD) is a secure communication method that leverages the principles of quantum mechanics to generate and distribute cryptographic keys. Unlike classical encryption methods, QKD provides future-proof security by allowing two parties to create a shared random secret key known only to them. Within this position you will develop tests for implementation side-channels of QKD systems. Furthermore, you will support field demonstrations of QKD.
