PhD scholarship in Silicon Carbide Optoelectronics – DTU Electro

At DTU Electro, you will pioneer advancements at the forefront of silicon carbide optoelectronics. We are actively seeking a highly self-motivated PhD candidate to make significant contributions to our ongoing research endeavors. You will take part in the newly granted EIC path-finder challenge project ‘High-efficiency high-power laser beaming in-space systems based on SiC (RePowerSiC)’, whose goal is to achieve a novel ultra-efficient SiC-laser power converter for in-space energy transmission in the range of kW/cm2 with efficiencies higher than 80%.
