The hired PhD Scholar will focus on anaerobic microbiome, microbial ecology, microbial interactions for biotechnological applications aiming at valorization of biowastes. The proposed research title is “Construction of microbial consortia based on genetic information”, and the aim is to develop a platform for constructing microbial associations (consortia) based on genetic information of the involved microorganisms to be used for efficient mixed culture fermentations.
