About the Role

We are looking for a Product Development Partner to strengthen the connection between Research & Development and the commercial organization in our forage and turf seed business across Europe.

In this role, you will help ensure that our R&D efforts result in products that are not only technically strong, but also clearly relevant, competitive, and ready for the market. You will work closely with breeders, trial teams, and commercial colleagues to support product decisions, validate performance data, and bring regional market insight into the product development process.

You will be part of a global Product Development team working across four regions, while being embedded in regional R&D activities.

Responsibilities

Bridge R&D and the Market

  • Act as a key link between R&D and commercial teams in the regional commercial team
  • Translate market needs, customer feedback, and competitive insights into clear product development input
  • Ensure that product development activities remain aligned with business priorities

Support product decisions

  • Follow and support the regional product pipeline from development to commercialization
  • Contribute to structured product advancement and prioritization decisions
  • Help ensure that product decisions are based on clear data, explicit trade-offs, and market relevance

Ensure high-quality trial data

  • Coordinate prioritization of product development trials together with trial and R&D teams
  • Ensure trial quality standards and protocols are applied consistently
  • Review and validate trial results and data packages before they are shared with commercial stakeholders

Collaborate globally

  • Share regional insights and learnings with the global Product Development team
  • Participate in global product development meetings and contribute to portfolio discussions
  • Support the global use and positioning of products by providing regional perspective

Who are you?

You are a structured, communicative, curious, and collaborative professional who enjoys working at the intersection of science and business. You are comfortable discussing both agronomic performance and commercial relevance with different stakeholders and lastly willing to travel internationally as part of the role.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in agricultural science, animal science or a related field
  • Experience (typically 5+ years) in product development, R&D, agronomy, or technical roles within agriculture, forage, turf or the seed industry
  • Solid understanding of field trials, agronomic performance evaluation, and data analysis
  • Experience working across functions in an international or matrix organization
