Do you want to be a valued part of the critical infrastructure that serves communities across Europe and beyond? Are you looking for a position in which you can set direction and help shape our company? If so, then you could be the newest addition to our team as Manager - Finance Business Partnering - Logistics.
Be part of the movement – and play your part
About the role
DFDS operates through two divisions – Logistics and Ferry. In this role, you will lead the central Business Finance team for the Logistics Division and be responsible for how financial performance is measured, steered, and improved across a rapidly growing European logistics business. You will report into the Divisional CFO Logistics, who reports directly to the Group CFO.
The central Business Finance team holds ownership of all core financial planning, reporting, functional finance, and commercial support activities of the Logistics Division. In this team, you will lead and support the development of three Finance Business Partners in Copenhagen and manage the capacity and prioritisation of two Business Analysts in our Shared Service Center in Poznan.
Together with your team, you will drive:
The divisional performance cycle, incl. reporting and budgeting
Capex planning, evaluation and reporting
Development of KPI frameworks and financial transparency
Improvements in financial processes, data models, and planning frameworks
Financial insight and decision support to senior stakeholders across commercial, operational, and central functions
Improvements in reporting, automation and data quality
Support to the strategic sales organisation in a business partnering capacity, responsible for our largest accounts
Financial processes, data models and analytical tooling incl. usage of EPM and BI tools
Representation of the division on finance functional topics
Strategic initiatives such as M&A, integration topics, capex evaluation, pricing topics, working capital and green transition initiatives
Further, you will work closely with Senior Finance Business Partners across business units to ensure aligned financial processes, shared standards, and driving how we work with performance management.
Your role will combine hands‑on analytical activities, finance functional ownership, and leadership of a team that sits at the centre of the division’s performance agenda. With a strategic view, you will be responsible for providing clear direction for the team’s tasks and deliverables, ensuring that work is effectively framed, scoped and prioritised to deliver the most value for the business. The dispositions you make affect priorities and ways of working across the entire business finance function. As this is a newly created position, you’ll have a unique opportunity to set direction, leave your mark and refine the role in a way that plays to your strengths.
You will be based at our headquarters in Copenhagen and join a driven and dedicated Business Finance team where colleagues work closely together, support each other, and take pride in driving clarity and impact for the business. The division has more than tripled in size in recent years, and the business finance function is at the core of driving performance in this setting
About you
We want you to show the best way forward by strengthening performance steering, building robust financial processes, and developing a high‑performing finance team.

Experience with leading people
Solid understanding of financial processes, planning cycles, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and capex evaluation
A strategic mindset with the ability to scope, challenge and prioritise work relative to where it creates most value for the business to ensure clear direction and effective prioritisation
Experience working in large, international, and complex organisations
Strong analytical skills and structured problem‑solving abilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A collaborative mindset and strong personal drive
Fundamental understanding of EPM or ERP systems (e.g., OneStream, D365, SAP, Oracle)
Experience in the logistics sector is a plus, but not required
A degree in finance, economics, business administration, or similar is expected. Full professional proficiency in English is required.
We think the strongest teams are built on diversity and inclusivity. Contrasting opinions, varied skills, and strong characters bring out the best in us all. And we cannot wait for you to join.
