At Demant, we believe technology can change lives. As one of the world’s leading hearing aid manufacturers, our mission is to push the boundaries of innovation to help people with hearing loss live fuller, more connected lives. We combine cutting-edge technology with deep human insight—and we’re looking for a Lead Project Manager who wants to make a real difference.

Join Product Launch & Data Management

You will join our Product Launch & Data Management function, which plays a key role in bringing new hearing health solutions to market—covering hearing aids, accessories, apps, fitting solutions, and the IT and data foundations behind them. This role sits at the heart of our product programs and connects business needs with IT and data solutions that deliver value for customers, users, and our global value chain.

What you’ll be responsible for

As Lead Project Manager, you will drive IT and data-related initiatives within major product programs, working closely with colleagues across functions and geographies. You will lead a small team of 2-3 project managers and will report to the Director of Product Programs & Data Management. You will be based at the Demant HQ in Smørum.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Translating business needs into well-designed IT and data solutions that support product launches and long-term scalability
  • Shaping and delivering value-adding features in IT systems, and acting as Epic Owner when relevant
  • Planning and coordinating implementations across internal teams, external partners, and suppliers
  • Supporting efficiency improvements across production, supply chain, and service as part of product programs
  • Contributing actively to program governance, project excellence, and continuous improvement in ways of working (e.g. Lean, SAFe, Agile)
  • Driving product master data development and rollout in collaboration with key stakeholders

You will work in close partnership with the Product Program Manager and be part of a collaborative program management team that values trust, clarity, and shared success.

About you

You bring a good foundation in project and program management combined with a solid understanding of IT and enterprise solutions. You are comfortable navigating stakeholder landscapes and enjoy working across disciplines—from marketing and operations to highly technical teams and senior leadership. In the role, you will also have people management, therefore we expect that you will bring some experience in the field of people leadership.

We imagine you have:

  • A relevant master’s degree (IT, engineering, business, or similar)
  • Significant years of experience leading IT projects or programs, for example within ERP, CRM, manufacturing systems, or core platforms
  • Some years of leadership experience within the field of project management
  • Experience with both classic and agile project methodologies (certifications are a plus)
  • Hands-on experience with change management and working across cultures
  • Good communication skills, a structured mindset, and a collaborative, solution-oriented approach

Interested?

If you want to know more about the job, you are welcome to contact Senior Director, Product Launch and Data Management, Thomas Aagaard Sørensen at +45 5117 6901.
