About the team

ITS Projects is part of Deloitte Denmark’s internal IT department, DK ITS. We play a key role in managing IT projects in both Denmark and across our member firms in the Nordics, while maintaining an increasingly global focus.

The team consists of experienced project managers with deep business understanding, strong process design skills, high communication proficiency, and digital implementation experience. Our main purpose is to deliver business value to Deloitte by efficiently driving IT projects to support relevant strategic priorities across Deloitte.

The ITS Projects team fosters a strong collaboration within the team, ensuring a high degree of continuous improvement by sharing experiences and learnings to ensure best practices and enhance future projects. Job Description

Your main goal as a Project Manager in Deloitte ITS is to ensure projects are successfully delivered to realize the expected benefits. This includes aligning expectations with several key stakeholders, planning, executing, and closing projects in a structured manner.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, and project team members in Deloitte Denmark and across the Nordics.

In this role, you will make an impact by:

  • Planning and leading projects through the whole project life cycle, focusing on clearly defining project scope in collaboration with key stakeholders, achieving desired benefits, and ensuring quality delivery.
  • Facilitate project meetings and workshops with stakeholders and the project team, ensuring focus on key objectives and deliverables, while proactively addressing project obstacles as they arise.
  • Presenting project progress and decision material for Steering Committees, continuously assessing project costs, value, and risks.
  • Completing project-relevant analysis based on interviews, workshops, data, and process mappings.
  • Ensuring project deliveries are operationalized and handed over to the Business Owner and relevant support teams upon project closure.
  • Leading and motivating cross-regional project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to structurally plan, run, implement, and complete projects in close dialogue with key stakeholders across Deloitte, including business leaders, technical specialists, vendors, and end-users.

You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and are able to interact constructively with key stakeholders.

We expect the following qualifications:

  • Have a master’s degree in business, IT, or other related fields.
  • Have a minimum of two years of working experience within project management or similar fields – it is a plus if you also hold a relevant project management certificate (eg, Prince2, PMP, or similar)
  • Can work independently and take responsibility for your own deliverables, while seeking support when needed to navigate a large, complex organization.
  • Are great at conveying complex messages in an understandable way and are highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel for analysis and presentations.
  • Have full professional proficiency in written and oral English
  • Have a residence and work permit in Denmark
