Technical lead, Infrastructure & Collaboration Services
We are looking for a skilled and experienced technical lead with strong background in physics, mathematics and section’ s research topics who will work and lead a team responsible for common digital infrastructure operations assisting scientific software development, deployment and cross-section resource sharing. The scope of the 3-year position includes support of projects and proposals through innovation and on-demand integration of modern physical and mathematical tooling into self-hosted cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, the team may be delegated the management of technical writing, reading and analysis of section’s reports and deliverables, onboarding of new employees.

You can speak the same technical language as other employees in their respective areas of expertise and propose technical solutions that contribute to quality of proposals/deliverables and their alignment with recent EU standards and technological trends.
Our expectations of you
It is expected that in this role, you will lead and instruct the team to manage cloud infrastructure, use and deploy simulation/optimization algorithms and handle solvers, therefore, the prior experience of setting up and operating private cloud on bare metal is assumed. At least 5-year experience with Modelica, Simulink, Simscape simulation of complex thermodynamic, electrical and chemical systems is essential. The prior management experience of mid-size teams as well as development teams is required.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC).
The period of employment is 3 years and is a full-time position. Preferred starting date is 1 April 2026 or according to mutual agreement.
The workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus.
