Postdoc in Plant-microbiome interactions This postdoc is part of the Lab2Field consortium led by Dr. Tanvi Taparia, which is hosted at the Section for Microbial & Chemical Ecology, DTU Bioengineering.
Responsibilities and qualifications
Your overall focus will be to advance our understanding of the ecological principles that govern the success of microbial bioinoculant consortia. Under the Lab2Field project, you will create a knowledge framework for the successful field application of microbial biostimulants and biopesticides. You will work closely with colleagues at DTU Bioengineering, farmers, industry partners, and regulatory bodies. You will contribute to generating knowledge that links insights from laboratory experiments with Synthetic Communities to field-level agronomic performance of multi-strain bioinoculants.

As a formal qualification, you must hold a PhD degree in microbiology, microbial ecology, biotechnology, environmental engineering or agriculture.

Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
The period of employment is 3 years. This is a full-time position with a starting date of 1st August 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
