You will be part of a team of ten colleagues who are responsible for processes and systems that cover the production area for two manufacturing sites. The job is a unique opportunity to make a difference in a production environment in a successful global company. You will join Danfoss Climate Solutions in Nordborg, and you will report to the Head of Manufacturing Technology.

You will primarily be working in our Early Launch Center, where we mature our products and processes by using the newest technologies in the field.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Engineer in our Manufacturing Technology area, your overall objective will be to plan and execute Manufacturing Technology activities to ensure optimal operations and thereby continuously improve quality and productivity. An important task will be to drive quality improvements in production, ensuring a stable output and reducing waste

In addition, your main tasks will be to:

• Analyze and optimize quality KPIs, scrap, FPY, rework, and implications around production stops.

• Secure TS 16949 compliance by making/updating quality documents, e.g., PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SOP.

• Participate in and manage Change Control projects, and support new product development projects.

• Prepare and execute implementation plans for improvement activities within quality, productivity, delivery, and costs.

• Participate in customer claim handling activities with the aim of eliminating the root causes in our production lines.

• Participate in and manage LEAN projects/Kaizen activities, e.g., support the shop floor in root problem solving by using both quality and LEAN tools

In this position, it’s important that you have a strong focus on quality assurance while at the same time inspiring employees to maintain a quality mindset and continuous professional customer focus.

What We're Looking For

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with knowledge of manufacturing

As an engineer, you have several years of technical experience working with quality and LEAN in production processes. Alternatively, you are at the beginning of your career and are willing to learn much more. If you have a Black or Green Belt in Six Sigma, it is an advantage.

On a more personal note, you have the energy and drive for performance. You have an outgoing approach and thrive on giving that bit of extra to secure a successful outcome from idea to implementation. Finally, you master Danish as well as English, both in writing and speech, and have a global mindset
