SUMMARY

The Facility & Inspection Assistant plays a key role in supporting daily operational activities across the facility. This includes warehouse registration, inventory control, material handling, waste coordination, and general upkeep both indoors and outdoors. The role also supports inspectors with sampling, gauging, and measurement activities. Full training will be provided. This position requires a proactive, self‑driven individual who can carry out the practical demands of the role and comfortable working in varying weather conditions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform warehouse registration, inventory control, and material handling tasks.

  • Conduct general housekeeping, tidying, and basic maintenance.

  • Manage waste handling and coordinate waste disposal according to procedures.

  • Carry out indoor and outdoor facility tasks such as weed control, minor repairs, and winter salt spreading.

  • Dispose of oil samples in line with established guidelines.

  • Assist inspectors with sampling, gauging, and measurement of shore tanks.

  • Ensure accurate labelling, storage, and documentation during sampling activities.

  • Provide support to colleagues as needed, including general operational tasks.

  • Work closely with various departments to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid driving licence.

  • Comfortable working in an outdoor environment and completing manual tasks as needed.

  • Willingness to work in changing weather conditions.
