Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure? If so,CIP Fund Solutions (CIP FS) is looking for a Business Specialist for the Finance Systems & Service Enablement (FSSE) team to join our office in Copenhagen, Denmark. 

 

Team 

The FSSE team sits under the CIP Fund Solutions’ CFO and collaborates broadly with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, IT, Data & Analytics, and other teams to execute impactful projects. The team works globally with stakeholders in all our regions (EMEA, APAC, and Americas). 

The team consists of three FTEs, working together to support the broader finance organization in optimizing the use of finance applications and enhancing operational impact. 

 

Role 

As a Business Specialist in FSSE, you will play a key role in supporting and improving our core Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and the associated system landscape.  

You will help source, design, implement, and operationalize finance applications that enhance efficiency, scalability, and business readiness as the organization continues to grow to reach our long-term goals. 

You will collaborate closely with the Finance Transformation team within FSSE, acting as an implementation business partner to ensure new applications and process changes are fully integrated into daily operations.  

You will also serve as the primary point of contact for our system landscape providers, coordinating deployments and ensuring changes are effectively rolled out across the business. 

Furthermore, you will be the primary contact for business users of the systems, ensuring consistent deployment and use of the applications across our regions. 

 

Key responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to: 

  • Support and optimize core P2P processes. 

  • Implement and provide operational support for new finance applications. 

  • Act as an implementation business partner between Finance Transformation and the wider business to ensure systems and applications are successfully implemented, adopted, and operationally sound. 

  • Serve as the primary contact for external system landscape providers. 

  • Provide ongoing application support to the business, including troubleshooting, documentation, and training. 

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures based on system usage, deployment, and functional capabilities.

  • Contribute to scaling finance operations through better systems, improved process design, and efficient workflows. 

You 

You have an MSc in e.g. Economics, International Business, Finance, or another relevant field and have 3-5 years of full-time experience in finance operations, transformation, systems support, or similar roles. 

Moreover, you have experience working with P2P processes and finance applications.

 
We look for the following in a candidate: 

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams 

  • A structured and solutionoriented approach to systems and process challenges 

  • Curiosity and motivation to support the continuous optimization of finance processes 

  • A solid skill set in Excel and PowerPoint 

  • Willingness to work in an international, fast-paced, and highly varied environment
