Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy? Then Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is the ideal place for you. We are currently looking for an Associate / Senior Associate to join our Flagship Fund Portfolio Management Team in CIP’s headquarters in Copenhagen.
Team
The Portfolio Management Team covers portfolio management and optimisation across CIPs Flagship Funds across regions. This includes setting the investment strategy for new funds and continuously keeping track of fund developments, notably financial performance and portfolio composition, to facilitate investment decision making.
CIP’s latest Flagship Fund, CI V, is the world’s largest dedicated greenfield renewable energy fund, and the Portfolio Management Team is also closely involved in fundraising as the team members are subject matter experts on the investment portfolio. This entails supporting the Investor Relations team with analyses on project and fund economics and explaining market and project developments.
Lastly, the team is also working closely with the leadership of the Flagship Funds to drive various strategy and ad-hoc tasks that go across project and fund investments.
The Portfolio Team currently consists of 10 employees out of a total of approximately 90 employees in the broader Flagship Fund Investment Team.
Role
As an Associate / Senior Associate, your primary responsibilities will be to develop, structure, and execute CIP’s Flagship Funds. You will be exposed to a large variety of tasks that will provide you with a deep understanding of CIP’s investment strategies and their track records, financial models, as well as many of the underlying investments within renewables, incl. offshore wind, onshore wind, battery energy storage, solar PV, and transmission.

You are holding a university degree in Math, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Engineering or another relevant field and 1–4 years of relevant experience in investment management, portfolio management, corporate finance, consulting, or a similar analytical role.
