Team
The Advanced Bioenergy Fund (ABF) at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) invests in advanced bioenergy infrastructure across Europe and North America, converting sustainable agricultural, household, and industrial biowaste into green gas, advanced biofuels, fertilizers, and biogenic CO₂ to decarbonize hard toa bate sectors such as industry, maritime shipping, aviation, and agriculture. The fund addresses global challenges including pollution reduction, biodiversity preservation, and energy security while enabling immediate drop in renewable fuel solutions compatible with existing infrastructure. The ABF team is a highly skilled, collaborative group of investment professionals with deep experience across energy, infrastructure, finance, project development, and operations, collaborating closely from early-stage concept development through construction and operational phases. With more than 30 experienced team members—including Partners, Directors, Investment Managers, Associates, Analysts, and Senior Advisors—the team works together to deliver impactful, commercially robust projects that advance the energy transition while creating long-term value.
Role
Based in Copenhagen, you will join a highly motivated international group of colleagues with extensive experience in investments in energy and infrastructure assets. You will contribute to the development, structuring and execution of CIP’s infrastructure investments globally with a focus on investments in advanced bioenergy.
Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:
Providing detailed analytics with a focus on the investments’ value creation
Delivering high quality reporting to CIP’s senior management and investors on the investments’ performance
Preparing material for decision making on senior management level
Working closely with the senior management in the Investment team
Financial modelling, valuation and structuring of investments
Market analysis and due diligence of new investment opportunities
Visualization and presentation of technical and financial data to stakeholders
Working together with industrial partners and advisors
You
We are looking for a motivated, collaborative, and analytical professional holding a relevant master’s degree within Economics, Finance or other related fields with 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Previous work experience in investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, strategy
Positive work ethic
Cooperates across teams and demonstrates professional-level written and spoken English skills; other languages are beneficial

Curious and creative mindset with an ability to organise and prioritise workload
