We are searching a Production Supervisor - Weekend Night (Friday/Saturday) based in Osted

About the Role

The supervisor is expected to have main focus on planning, prioritization and reporting upon daily operations. To secure the best possible utilization of the available resources in a way that plans, quality demands and budgets are kept within BUID's targets and policies. The supervisor is the team leader for operators, process responsibles and coordinators in assigned shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that production targets are met on time, with right quality and in a safe work environment

• Effective prioritization of resources and machines in collaboration with the Production Manager and Resource Coordinator on the shift

• Sets and motivates team for optimal performance and collaboration including hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, and other personnel related matters.

• Secure that operators are properly trained in the machine-/process groups according to wanted flexibility

• Establishes cross training needs to ensure there are coverage for regular absenteeism, vacations and overtime needs

• Performs vacation planning with resource coordinators

• Ensures staffing of team to agreed staffing model and strives to secure low absence in team

Skills & Experience:

• 5 years’ experience with people management in production environment. Medical device, pharma or life science industry experience is an advantage

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma

• Knowledge of planning, responsibility of KPIs, OEE

• Experience with continuous improvements (would be an advantage)

Languages

• English

• Danish

Job requires onsite presence. The majority of the time the position is expected to be on the shop floor.
