As Phase One keeps growing, the demand for business related IT services, does the same. Consequently, we are now looking for a Test Manager who can join the IT team in Copenhagen.
The position is a combination of test management, release management and IT architecture. It's all about improving the quality of our output in relation to the application stack that we deliver to support the business (e.g. Web, EShop, MS CRM, Marketo, BI and MS AX)
We support the DevOps framework which implies that the Test Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing both processes and tools that ensure all applications and system packages meet the requirements. As part of this, we want you to design and manage the test- and release control process to ensure development and changes are coming out successful.
You will also mature our documentation of applications, integrations and underlying infrastructure.
Finally you will be involved in projects related to acquisition of and implementation of system software and/or applications.
The tasks:
- Work closely with both inhouse- and external developers to clarify feature requirements, determine manual and automated testing needs, task out work, and provide feedback on design solutions.
- Identify incomplete or missing areas in specs and work with relevant stakeholders to address them
- Perform and participate in all aspects of manual and automated test verifications. This includes feature and functional testing, unit testing, regression testing
- Manage the daily work of 2 students, working with testing
- Ensure proper root cause analysis for bugs and work with the development team to resolve them
- Oversee release activity and perform post deployment verification
- Bring a strong knowledge of Agile testing methodologies and best practices
- Establish and evolve processes to improve the productivity and efficiency of testing practices across the team
- Improve the documentation of our supported applications and systems
- Communicate test status and needs accurately and effectively both within and across teams.
Skills and abilities: We are hiring for a rather broad role and we expect you to have a structured yet pragmatic mindset. Besides this we are looking for some of these abilities:
- Strong knowledge of test methodology and tools
- Experience with analyzing project requirements, architecture, technical design and functional processing to manage and facilitate the necessary scope of testing
- Experience with DevOps, cloud environment, mobile devices
- Great English communication skills - written, presentation skills, etc.
- Experience with test automation tools
- Knowledge of and experience with architectural tools is an advantage
- We are still maturing, consequently experience from small/medium size company, is beneficial
