Communications Associate - Content Creation (Nonprofit, Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves developing high-quality written, visual, and multimedia communication products to highlight initiatives by UN organizations in Copenhagen. The position supports storytelling, audience engagement, and visibility through targeted communication outputs, as well as the production and dissemination of materials for events and meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience in content production, including written and visual materials.
• Familiarity with UN communication standards.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders and support communication campaigns.
• Knowledge of digital tools and AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce communication materials, including feature stories and impact narratives.
• Support planning and implementation of outreach initiatives targeting Danish and Nordic audiences.
• Contribute to internal communication efforts across UN City.
• Drive the integration of digital tools to enhance communication processes.
• Handle administrative tasks related to the Communications team.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing within networks and communities of practice.

Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to research and generate relevant knowledge.
• Proficiency in social media and its application for development outcomes.

Education

• Relevant degree in communications, media, or a related field preferred.
