Job summary

The position is fully remote and part-time, with a commitment of 10-20 hours per week for a duration of 2 months, potentially extending further.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Chemistry or a related discipline
• Research or industry experience in computational or quantitative chemistry workflows

Responsibilities

• Design challenging chemistry problems that mirror real scientific processes
• Create deterministic tasks with a singular correct answer and comprehensive verified solutions
• Develop problems that require intensive reasoning and computational grounding
• Utilize Python and relevant chemistry tools or simulation packages as needed
• Ensure reproducibility, technical precision, and clear documentation of all tasks
• Write concise and rigorous technical explanations in English

Skills

• Proficient in Python with knowledge of scientific libraries
• Strong grasp of modeling, numerical methods, and chemical reasoning
• Ability to create original and complex problems that exceed basic textbook knowledge
