German (/French) speaking Junior Sales Trader to European Equities Sales Team

We are looking for a Junior Sales Trader to serve institutional investors in Continental Europe, primarily Germany. The position is based in Copenhagen but you will work closely with colleagues in UK and across the Nordics.

The expected start date is summer 2026, with the possibility to join earlier in a part-time role while finishing your Master degree.

DNB Carnegie Equities focuses on institutional clients and offers services in equity research, brokerage, sales trading and ECM-related transactions. About the role
As a Junior Sales, you will be part of a highly skilled and successful team with a strong culture of cross-collaboration, knowledge sharing and ambition. The position reports to Head of Continental Europe Sales, who is also located in the Copenhagen office.

You will of course receive the necessary training and support in order for you to be successful in the job.

In this role, you will over time be expected to:

• Act as a key speaking partner and be the primary contact for institutional clients in Germany and Continental Europe
• Advise European institutional investors on Nordic equities based on our leading research offering
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in Germany and Continental Europe
• Win client orders and ensure professional execution in close collaboration with our local office traders
• Develop a deep understanding of each client’s portfolio and investment needs
• Stay up to date on Nordic equity market developments, trends and opportunities
• Work closely with account managers and research analysts to deliver timely market insight
• Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities and disseminating investment ideas
• Represent DNB Carnegie during events and roadshows

About you
We are looking for an outgoing and analytical finance student, who is motivated by client interaction and passionate about the equity markets. You:

• Are currently enrolled in a Finance Master program (university or business school) with relevant courses, graduating in 2026
• Speak fluent German and preferably French
• Have a strong interest in equities, financial markets and client advisory
• Possess strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Are service-minded, proactive and able to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
• Have a can-do attitude, strong work ethic and enjoy engaging with clients and colleagues across countries
