What you’ll be doing

As our future Packaging Engineer, you will be part of our Dispense Team, which creates innovative solutions for our packaging, dispensing, and production.

In the role, you will start by participating in several projects supporting our Project Manager colleagues and Technical Team, and have the opportunity to develop into driving your own activities. This position offers excellent prospects for professional growth, with opportunities to broaden your responsibilities and increase your impact across multiple projects and stakeholders.

You will be contributing to the full lifecycle of our packaging, ranging from ideation to product testing, product implementation and optimising processes in production. This is achieved by working together with our internal team as well as procurement, quality and our breweries and markets around the world.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Drive internal and external testing and document results of new and existing dispense projects, contributing to PPWR requirements
• Structure test data and provide the project teams with insights regarding functionality and specifications
• Provide technical knowledge on Packaging, Implementation & Optimisation of DraughtMaster projects (technical/feasibility/quality information)
• Data analysis from Draught Master samples provided from countries, including recommendations for the blowing & filling process
• Root Cause analysis and Expert Problem Solving on Draught Master related issues
• Communication and cooperation with internal and external customers, suppliers and stakeholders
• Generate new ideas within the packaging area to optimise our efficiency and follow up on new trends and technologies

What we’re looking for

We are looking for an experienced and highly independent packaging professional who demonstrates strong technical expertise alongside effective project leadership capabilities. Curiosity, passion, and a strong desire for continuous learning are essential for success in this role

Competencies we are looking for are:

• 3-5 years of experience in packaging engineering or a related field, ideally within FMCG or food & beverage.
• Proven track record of leading packaging development projects from concept to implementation.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets to drive decisions.
• Expertise in packaging materials, plastic, processes, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse teams and geographies.
• Willingness to do both hands-on and admin/documentation work
• Experience with sustainability-driven packaging innovation and regulatory compliance (e.g., PPWR).
• Ability to influence and collaborate in a matrix organization.
• Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Expert proficiency in the Microsoft suite (Office 365) and willingness to learn a suite of lab-specific software’s
• Fluency in English
• There will be a great travel opportunity in the position (approx. 10 - 30%)
