The position
As Senior Mechanical Engineer you will play a key part in advancing our capabilities and ensuring quality solutions for our client’s projects and plants within renewable and engine power generation plants as well as green energy solutions.

You will join our Technology Function where you will work alongside our engineering colleagues within a wide range of disciplines. We support BWSC's business areas and customers globally with engineering deliveries. This we do within plant design, technical troubleshooting, and plant optimization during the lifetime of the plants. We are involved in the complete life cycle from sales & proposal to project execution and subsequent services and plant modifications.

You will be part of a small team where your expertise has real influence on solutions, and where you can follow your work from concept to site implementation. We operate in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment that demands a strong focus on cross-functional teamwork. Your ability to balance a hands-on approach with detailed quality focus and overview of the workflow and interdependence will be key to your success.

Moreover, we foresee that you are experienced in several of the below:

  • Design and engineering of Balance of plant solutions for energy facilities with strong knowledge of mechanical equipment
  • Quality Assurance in engineering work
  • Solid understanding of mechanical and process plant design principles
  • Experience with modular/skid-based plant layouts and containerized systems (a plus)
  • Experience in engine, boiler and PtX plant design
  • Knowledge of steam/condensate thermodynamics systems
  • Inspections/FAT and check of equipment at the suppliers’ production facilities before shipping
  • Site support and troubleshooting
  • Engineering & competences for installation (construction) including capabilities of estimating costs (B&Q) and assessing execution schedule.

Qualifications
You are a self-starter with drive, who welcomes the chance to take the initiative. Your positive, proactive and systematic approach to your work enables you to take a task and run with it independently. You are experienced with technical coordination in a multidisciplinary environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Plant Engineering or related field.
  • +15 years of experience in industrial plant layout, ideally in the energy, process, or power sectors.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., EN, ASME, ATEX for hydrogen zones)

In addition, you:

  • Are able to build and mature strong relationships with both internal and external parties
  • As a person, you ensure excellence through your motivation and energy.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, as a minimum in English is required. Danish and other languages will be considered a plus.
