Blockchain Engineer (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves collaborating with a core team to explore and prototype emerging blockchain use cases, translating insights into actionable recommendations for infrastructure development. The position is fully remote and ideal for early-career engineers eager to discover business value through blockchain technology.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of engineering experience, preferably in backend or systems development (Go, Rust, or Python preferred)
• Basic understanding of blockchain technology, including transaction lifecycle and smart contracts
• Curiosity-driven mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and eager to learn
• Strong ability to structure and communicate research findings clearly
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment

Responsibilities

• Investigate and experiment with various blockchain use cases, creating prototypes to validate concepts
• Conduct research on on-chain ecosystems and protocols to identify opportunities for BNB Chain infrastructure
• Synthesize research findings into technical reports and recommendations for the core team
• Collaborate with protocol and product teams to integrate research insights into infrastructure decisions
• Stay updated on developments in the Web3 ecosystem, including protocols and business models

Skills

• Familiarity with blockchain ecosystems (BNB Chain, Ethereum, Solana, etc.) is a plus
• Knowledge of DeFi, trading infrastructure, payments, or AI applications is advantageous
• Experience in on-chain data analysis or smart contract development is beneficial
• Background in quantitative analysis, data engineering, or financial systems is a plus
