Power Electronics & Control Electronics

Two experienced profiles for new projects

Do you want to help develop the next generation of electronics solutions for advanced compressor-based applications? At BITZER Electronics, we are strengthening our hardware competencies and are looking for two experienced Hardware Engineers for new strategic development projects.

We are looking for:

  • A Hardware Engineer with focus on Power Electronics
  • A Hardware Engineer with focus on Control Electronics

Both roles are part of the same development environment and work closely together in the projects with other professional groups.

The role – common to both positions

As a Hardware Engineer at BITZER Electronics, you participate in the entire development process – from concept and specification to testing, validation and transition to production.

Your tasks will include:

  • Development of complete hardware solutions for BITZER Electronics products, including:
    • Power Electronics: power supply, DC link, inverter, gatedrive, EMC and mechatronic integration
    • Control Electronics: microcontroller, control and measurement circuits, I/O, HMI, and sensors
  • Ensuring high product reliability through clever and robust design choices
  • Focus on product synergy and reuse across solutions
  • Interpretation and compliance with relevant standards (safety, EMC, etc.)
  • Documentation of design, decisions and tests
  • Close technical sparring and collaboration throughout the project and development phase

You will join a professional team with a strong focus on quality and continuous learning. Developing and strengthening individual competencies is a natural part of how we work.

The roles are independent and technically demanding, offering meaningful responsibility in a professional environment built on respect for each other’s expertise.

The two professional profiles

Power Electronics

Your primary focus is the design and development of power electronics for inverter applications – including dimensioning, design selection, testing and technical quality assurance. You will be part of the work with PCB design in close sparring with colleagues and contribute to robust and production-ready solutions.

Control Electronics

Your primary focus is the design of control and measurement circuits as well as the technical integration between hardware and software. You work with MCU close design and ensure a stable and well-documented interaction between electronics, mechanics and software.

Your background and way of working

We imagine that you:

  • Are an engineer – or a technician with solid and relevant experience
  • Have 5–10+ years of experience in either power electronics or control electronics
  • Works in a structured, systematic manner and follows tasks all the way to the end
  • Thrive in a dialogue-based development environment with strong professional profiles
  • Can work both in detail and with a helicopter view
  • Sees documentation as a natural part of professional development work
  • Have experience with OrCAD or similar tools

We offer

  • Participation in technically complex and long-term development projects
  • A role with high professional influence and responsibility
  • A development environment with a clear focus on professionalism, knowledge sharing and ongoing competence development
  • A management style with a focus on professionalism, clarity and well-being
