Shape BioMar’s Global Data Platform
Own and evolve a global data foundation with real impact
Are you motivated by owning and shaping a data platform that supports global business? At BioMar, data is a strategic capability – not a support function. As our new Senior BI Architect, you will take end-to-end ownership of BioMar’s global Data & BI architecture and play a key role in how data is used across the organization today and in the future.
You will join a purpose driven, international company investing in a modern, scalable data platform that enables self-service BI, advanced analytics, and AI-driven insights. This role offers real influence, architectural responsibility, and the opportunity to shape solutions that matter.
Take architectural ownership in a global organization
As our Senior BI Architect, you will be part of the Data & BI team and work closely with our Data Engineer, BI Solution Leads, IT architects and leadership, and business stakeholders across BioMar’s global organization. This is a hands-on architect role where you actively define standards, influence priorities, and ensure a robust and futureproof Data & BI platform.
Your key responsibilities include:
Owning and continuously evolving BioMar’s global Data & BI architecture
Ensuring a scalable, secure, and future-ready platform across the full data lifecycle – from source systems to consumption
Defining and enforcing standards for BI development, data models, ETL processes, and deployments
Acting as a trusted sparring partner for our Data Engineer, BI Solution Leads, IT colleagues, and business stakeholders
Supporting transparency, trust, and self-service‑ through strong documentation and governance
You will work with BioMar’s core technology stack, including Azure data and analytics services, SQL-based data warehousing, Inspari Toolkit, and Tableau.
The position is based in Aarhus, Denmark, with approximately 20–30 travel days per year.
Bring senior BI expertise and a strong sense of ownership
You thrive in roles where architectural responsibility, technical depth, and business impact go hand in hand. You enjoy owning platforms end-to-end and enabling others by building strong, scalable foundations.
Must-haves:
5+ years of experience as a BI Architect, BI Consultant, or similar role in a complex enterprise environment
Strong hands-on‑ experience with BI development and architecture
Solid experience with modern, preferably Azure-based data platforms

Strong communication skills and the ability to consult, influence, and challenge stakeholders
Nice-to-have:
Experience working in global, multicultural organizations
Experience supporting self-service‑ BI and advanced analytics or AI use cases
Grow your impact in a global, data-driven organization
At BioMar, you will step into a senior, influential role with real architectural ownership. You will work with skilled colleagues across Data, IT, and the business in an international environment where data and BI are strategic priorities.
