Are you interested in driving excellence and efficiency in BioMar operations by improving operational performance and overall KPI results through a practical continuous improvement approach?

We are looking to hire a new colleague for our Global Manufacturing Operations & Performance team, located in Denmark together with our state-of-the-art pilot plant facilities.

The position will focus on identifying opportunities and improving operational performance using data, better ways of working, ingredient science, and strong process technology knowledge. You will join a skilled international team in a company where innovation and sustainability are at the heart of everything we do.

BioMar “Global Manufacturing & Technology”

You will work in Brande, Denmark, where our part of our Global Manufacturing and Technology organisation is located, but will be in close contact with our global process colleagues located at our factories across the globe. Travelling activity up to 50-60 days/year can be expected. The primary tasks will include:

• Facilitate thorough analyses of current processes and systems to pinpoint inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and potential areas for operational KPI´s improvements with a continuous improvement approach

• Drive collaboration and factory support across functional teams and operations in BioMar to execute improvement initiatives that are aligned with organizational goals and strategy

• Drive and support the implementations of identified optimizations in collaboration with BioMar operations. Provide guidance and structure to ensure the project stays on track and goals are reached.

• Mentor employees and conduct training sessions on improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques that support operational performance optimization actions.

You are a team player and have experience within feed or food technology

As a person you are a team player, who likes to cooperate and be around other people. Ideally, you will have a master’s degree (or equivalent) in process technology, food science or biotechnological engineering combined with min. 3-5 years of work experience ex. as process engineer at an aquafeed producing factory. We value:

• Enjoys operational challenges and identification of opportunities to improve
• Experience with applying continuous improvement tools and framework
• Strong presentation and communication skills – stakeholder focus
• Structure, analytical working routines and having a good overview
• Practical experience in operations/manufacturing ex. as process engineer
• Process technology – fish feed/pet food/food technology/chemical knowledge on ingredients
