Drive global energy improvements and shape the future of sustainable aquaculture

Lead meaningful energy impact across a global production network

In this role, you become a key driver in improving energy efficiency across BioMar’s factories worldwide. You will turn data and insights into practical solutions that strengthen operational performance, reduce environmental impact, and support a more sustainable future. You will have real influence and the opportunity to shape projects that matter - both for BioMar and for the future of aquaculture. You will lead your own initiatives while collaborating closely with skilled colleagues across the organization.

Make a difference in sustainable aquaculture

As an Energy and Project Engineer, you will support factories with energy projects and ensure a successful rollout of our Energy Monitoring System (EMS). You will work with local teams, development projects, and the Manufacturing & Technology department to move ideas into implementation. The role blends hands-on project management with technical development and knowledge sharing.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and further developing EMS (HW & SW) across production sites

  • Driving and supporting energy projects in collaboration with local teams

  • Contributing to the implementation of EnMS (ISO 50001) together with the Manufacturing & Technology Team

  • Collaborating with the Process Innovation Team and external partners

  • Acting as project manager for smaller energy initiatives and supporting larger projects

You will be based at BioMar’s site in Brande, Denmark, and can expect approximately 30 travel days per year to support project execution.

Bring hands-on drive and a collaborative mindset

You thrive working at the intersection of engineering and project management, and you create results through teamwork. You are curious, structured, and motivated by creating visible, measurable impact. You take initiative to identify and solve problems, and you are comfortable switching between project coordination and technical tasks. Experience can vary, but you bring the motivation and structure needed to move projects forward.

Must-haves:

  • A technical degree such as Energy Technologist or a Bachelor’s in Technology Management and Marine Engineering

  • Either newly graduated or with a few years of relevant experience

  • Ability to work independently and drive your own projects forward

  • Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work in international teams

  • Willingness to travel approximately 30 days per year

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with DWG TrueView and/or NavisWorks

Grow Your Impact in a Purpose‑Driven Global Team

At BioMar, you join a global organization focused on innovation, sustainability, and collaboration. You can expect flexibility, professional development, and the chance to influence global energy consumption and CO₂ reductions. You will be part of an international environment with dedicated colleagues and meaningful projects that support the future of aquaculture. You will work in a culture where innovation, partnership, and knowledge sharing are essential, and where we collaborate to create measurable results.
