Are you passionate about container technologies and Kubernetes? Join our Software Platform Team – a group of 14 highly skilled engineers supporting over 250 developers across BEUMER Group with cutting-edge technologies, essential tools, security standards, and expert guidance.

As a Senior Software Developer, you’ll take ownership of Kubernetes clusters and container runtime environments, driving innovation in CI/CD processes, container security, and developer experience. You’ll work in a global setup with colleagues in Denmark, Germany, and Poland, shaping the future of BEUMER Group’s on-premises software ecosystem.

Your mission: to lead our software department into the future and tackle challenges head-on. You will be responsible for:

• Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters and container runtime environments for air-gapped, on-premises deployments
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for container images, security scanning, and automated deployments
• Develop GoLang-based tools to extend and integrate container platforms
• Enhance monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki
• Advise and support developers on containerization, resource configuration, and runtime architectures
• Evaluate and integrate CNCF technologies to keep our platform future-ready
• Lead workshops and training sessions on Kubernetes, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD
• Champion DevSecOps practices aligned with ISO 27001, IEC 62443, and NIST standards

Your profile

• You have several years of experience with a focus on container technologies, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• You have extensive experience in developing and integrating tools with GoLang/C# and deploying them in containerized environments.
• You possess in-depth knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm), Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Helm), and DevOps workflows.
• You have experience with Linux system administration, container runtime security, and network policies in Kubernetes.
• You have excellent English skills.
