We are looking for a new Frontend Developer to join our team in Aarhus, in the early phase of building the future ecommerce stack for BESTSELLER brands.

You’ll join our tech team in Aarhus — a talented mix of developers and product managers who enjoy tackling complex challenges together. We take pride in our craft, value ownership, and believe the best solutions come from strong collaboration.

Furthermore, you’ll work closely with colleagues across the business, so being proactive and reaching out when needed is key to push your tasks forward.

YOUR NEW ROLE
As our new Frontend Developer, you will shape and enhance the user experience across our digital platforms, ensuring that everything we build feels fast, intuitive, and brand aligned.  

In your daily work, you’ll: 

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Backend Developers, and Design to scope, define, and implement new features and improvements. 
• Develop, maintain, and optimise our web applications and online stores, ensuring performance and usability across devices. 
• Build and implement new layouts, components, and design updates in line with brand identity and UX principles. 
• Support the creation of new digital experiences, from concept to deployment. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly, learning from them to strengthen our solutions going forward. 
• Work with the newest technologies

WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT
You have a few years of experience and thrive in a setup with a lot of freedom to solve your own tasks. You take ownership of what you build and care about what you deliver. You understand that quality is important, but that speed is necessary for getting learnings quickly. You thrive in an informal and casual working environment with room for both laughter and seriousness. 

We imagine you have:  

• Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript for type-safe, maintainable code. 
• Hands-on experience with Node.js for tooling, build processes, and SSR (server-side rendering) 
• Proven experience developing and maintaining React-based applications. 
• Experience implementing routing and navigation using React Router or building full applications with Next.js. 
• Solid understanding of CSS and modern styling patterns, including responsive design and utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS. 
• Experience consuming and structuring data from GraphQL APIs, including handling queries and mutations.
