Drive IT implementation of laboratory equipment and systems

We are seeking a QC Lab IT Superuser to take ownership of IT-related activities for the implementation, integration, and qualification of computerized laboratory equipment in our QC department in Kvistgaard.

In this role, you will be the primary driver of new lab equipment implementations, working closely with Process Managers and key stakeholders across the organization. You will act as the go-to expert for IT and validation topics related to laboratory equipment, ensuring compliant, robust, and efficient solutions throughout the system lifecycle.

As part of an ongoing expansion of our manufacturing and QC laboratory landscape, you will support the rollout of multiple new validated laboratory systems and play a critical role in shaping how IT is embedded in our labs going forward.

You will report directly to the Manager for Lims & release, QC.

Your key responsibilities

  • Drive requirements gathering and translate business needs into clear technical specifications for vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Lead and support the acquisition, installation, and implementation of new laboratory equipment and systems
  • Deliver enhancements, interfaces, and system upgrades through structured prototyping, testing, documentation, and training in line with IT validation standards
  • Ensure compliant and reliable integration between laboratory equipment and LIMS, including accurate data and documentation
  • Act as the primary second-level support contact for application-related issues and provide IT support for QC laboratory operations in close collaboration with the IT Lab team

To succeed in this role, you bring:

  • 3–5 years of experience as an Application Specialist or in a similar role working under Computer System Validation and GAMP guidelines
  • Solid hands-on experience with setting up computers and instruments in a laboratory environment
  • Strong general knowledge of Windows operating systems and IT infrastructure
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
