We are on the lookout for a talented and driven Business Controller to be part of our ambitious and collaborative Finance team.

Your key responsibilities

As the Business Controller for Corporate Functions, you will take full ownership of financial oversight and end-to-end controlling across critical support areas, including IT, HR, Finance and Legal. You will primarily focus on IT, serving as a trusted Finance Business Partner to VP and EVP-level stakeholders.

  • Own and lead controlling for the Corporate Functions – drive implementation, development, and execution of controlling activities
  • Boost cost transparency – leverage tools like Power BI to develop clear, actionable insights that increase visibility and accountability
  • Support monthly closing processes – ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Drive budgeting and forecasting for all corporate functions
  • Conduct deep-dive financial analysis – identify opportunities and risks through benchmarking, trend analysis within IT and other functions
  • Deliver strategic reporting – create high-impact reports and dashboards that support senior management in data-driven decision-making
  • Handle ad hoc financial tasks

Ideal qualifications to succeed in the role

  • Holds a master’s degree in finance or economics
  • +4 years of proven work experience within related finance fields, such as controlling or business consulting; experience with IT controlling will be a strong advantage
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint and with a natural flair for IT systems in general
  • A solid understanding of ERP systems (e.g., D365) and experience using Power BI to turn data into insight

Finance department

You will be based in Hellerup, Denmark, and report to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and be part of a global Finance team of 40 skilled finance professionals with high dedication.

As a group function, the FP&A team is responsible for a wide range of activities that support the company’s financial steering—such as group wide planning processes, performance reporting, financial analysis, and planning & reporting platforms.

While your core responsibility will be IT controlling and business partnering towards your stakeholders in Corporate Functions, you will also be exposed to various cross-functional projects, tasks and strategic initiatives driven by the team.
