Your Tasks
you operate at the interface of customers, trading activity, and tax mechanics
manage inbound and outbound customer interactions across digital financial services and brokerage topics
analyse and explain capital gains, tax realisation events, and withholding tax treatment on trading and banking transactions
review loss carryforward balances (Verlustverrechnungstöpfe) and exemption orders (Freistellungsaufträge), including their impact on portfolio performance
explain buy-ins, forced position closures, and settlement processes based on FiFo valuation logic
validate annual tax statements (Jahressteuerbescheinigungen) and clarify discrepancies between transactions and reporting
review and explain corporate action bookings — dividends, spin-offs, rights issues, mergers, and other capital measures — including their impact on cost basis and taxation
translate complex financial and tax mechanics into clear, structured, customer-friendly communication
Your Profile
fluent German and advanced knowledge of English
proven professional experience in banking, brokerage, financial services, or fintech support (required)
solid understanding of securities transactions and transaction-based tax treatment
confident working with digital systems and MS Office
strong communication skills with a clear customer-first mindset
high level of ownership, motivation, and willingness to learn
ability to work independently, think analytically, and quickly understand complex processes
