Associate Director, Global Medical Writing

Job summary

This role involves leading the development of high-quality scientific publications to support clinical development programs in endocrinology. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate communication of clinical trial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic degree, preferably a master’s or PhD.
• Over 8 years of experience in scientific publications within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare sectors.
• Strong understanding of publication regulations and guidelines (ICMJE, GPP).
• Ability to interpret clinical data and develop publications from study reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in endocrinology or rare diseases is a plus.
• CMPP certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Draft, revise, and edit scientific publications including manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations.
• Collaborate with Publication Planning and external investigators on publication strategies and timelines.
• Ensure scientific accuracy and compliance in all publications.
• Lead the review and revision processes with authors and key opinion leaders.
• Conduct literature reviews and interpret clinical data to support communications.
