We are looking for a motivated Student Assistant, Healthcare Compliance who wants hands-on experience with compliance in a global biopharmaceutical company.

At our headquarters in Hellerup, Denmark, research facilities in Heidelberg, Germany, and additional offices across Europe and the United States, we are advancing programs in our Endocrinology Rare Disease and Oncology portfolios. We also collaborate with partners on the development of TransCon-based products in other therapeutic areas and markets.

We are seeking a Student Assistant to join our Compliance team and support with different tasks and processes aiming to support and strengthen our Compliance Program and culture.  You will join a team of dedicated colleagues, working within Compliance, Data Privacy, Risk Management, and ESG.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Conducting due diligence of activities to ensure they are carried out in alignment with applicable laws, regulations and industry codes as well as Ascendis Pharma internal policies
  • Supporting with transparency reporting in selected European countries i.e. request, review and report data.
  • Refining and optimizing processes and templates to promote efficiency
  • Maintaining an overview of reviewed activities in our internal dashboard
  • Keeping our knowledge base alive by regularly updating content and improving structure for effective use across the team

Your qualifications:

Ideally, you are in the first year of your master’s studies in business administration, law, finance, accounting or another relevant field.

You have structured approach and can maintain an overview of multiple tasks and projects going on simultaneously and with different deadlines.

Experience from the pharmaceutical industry will be considered an advantage.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written

Hours: Two days per week, approx. 15 hours in total.
