We are seeking a passionate Solution Architect to join our growing team. As a key member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and implementation of enterprise endpoint management solutions, focusing on Microsoft Intune, Defender, and related technologies/platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional, global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results.

You will be joining the End User Computing product team working alongside 3 internal colleagues who are based in Germany and the US. To succeed in this role, it’s important that you thrive in a remote/hybrid environment and are comfortable collaborating across time zones.

You will be based in Hellerup and report directly to People Leader Jakob Thrane who is also based in Hellerup.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Designing and architecting scalable, secure, and compliant endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Intune, Defender, and related technologies/platforms.
• Developing and maintaining architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices for device configuration, security policies, and application deployment.
• Collaborating with IT teams, security, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions that optimize user experience and security posture.
• Leading the evaluation and integration of new technologies and tools to continuously improve endpoint security and management capabilities.
• Providing expert guidance and oversight on complex troubleshooting, automation, and proactive remediation scripts to ensure operational excellence.
• Driving documentation, knowledge sharing, and training initiatives within the team to elevate overall endpoint management maturity.

Qualifications and Skills:

You hold a relevant academic degree – preferably a Bachelor of IT Architecture or a similar technology foundation – and 3-5 years of experience within IT Architecture design and Microsoft Azure technologies.

Furthermore, you have:

• Proficient with Microsoft Intune, Defender, Entra ID, Windows 11
• Good analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex problems and challenges.
