Landside & Customs Product Manager - DRC/ANG

As the Country Landside & Customs Product Manager for DRC & Angola, you will drive profitable volume and revenue growth while ensuring high customer satisfaction. You will translate Global, Regional, and Area strategies into country-level execution, ensuring plans are effectively implemented and providing product expertise and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Product Development

• Lead the growth and optimization of the Landside & Customs product portfolio within the country, aligning with market trends, customer needs, and strategic opportunities.
• Manage product capacity and offerings to meet evolving market demands.
• Identify and develop new revenue streams to support business expansion.
• Implement and cascade global and regional product guidelines across the area and country.

Profitability & Pricing Management

• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Experience, and Operations to drive product performance and market relevance.
• Own all pricing activities, including price setting and margin strategy, ensuring alignment with global governance.
• Lead cost-saving initiatives and margin improvement programs to enhance profitability.

Performance Management

• Monitor and improve service and product performance across the country.
• Maximize revenue and EBIT through upselling, cost control, and operational efficiency.
• Strengthen engagement with the global network to unlock value and drive synergies.
• Oversee the introduction and implementation of new products, ensuring successful go-live execution.
• Promote a culture of performance transparency and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

• Foster cross-functional collaboration between Product Development, Sales, CX, and Operations to co-create value.
• Optimize resource allocation and contractual arrangements to drive cost efficiency.

Who are we looking for?

• Strong knowledge of logistics products and services / Strong commercial background in logistics (. i.e. sales and customer engagement) / Strong knowledge in the operational side of logistics)
• Strong knowledge about trends, customer needs and growth opportunities in DRC & Angola
• Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret and act on P&L
• Change and & Project management skills
• Strong stakeholder management & collaboration in a matrix organization
