In the role of Nordic Compliance Officer, you will monitor and drive all compliance initiatives and policies in close collaboration with the Nordic Law & Compliance team. You will provide and conduct compliance oversight in the Nordics according to Aon's standards, policies, global risk and ethics standards and in accordance with local legislations. As the Nordic Compliance Officer, you will work closely with other colleagues within the Law & Compliance team and the business, both in EMEA and globally.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for leading compliance activities including building and maintaining the local compliance framework, including procedures and policy implementation, to meet local regulatory compliance obligations and expectations.
  • Provide compliance-related advice and oversight of local compliance matters, including Aon corporate policies, supporting M&A due diligence, risk assessment, and regulatory reporting (e.g. Anti-Corruption, Anti- Money Laundering, Trade Restrictions, Conflicts of Interest).
  • Increase awareness of compliance and regulatory issues with business colleagues.
  • Responsible for implementing Aon compliance policies, assist in internal audit reviews and facilitate/participate in risk committee meetings.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written) are required; proficiency in Swedish or another Nordic language is an advantage.

As a person, you have strong self-leadership with high integrity and radiate security and humility. You are a business and solution-oriented person who enjoys working in teams.
