What the day will look like
The position can be based in either Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki or Copenhagen and you will be part of the Nordic Law & Compliance team and report to the Head of Law & Compliance, Nordic region. Aon operates across the four Nordic countries (Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark) as a global leader in risk- and people management solutions. Aon Nordic combines global expertise with local presence to deliver integrated services – from traditional insurance and risk management to advanced HR- and benefit-solutions, to re-insurance and financial structuring. The Nordic Law & Compliance team consists of local legal counsels, compliance officer and the Head of Law and Compliance. The Nordic team constitutes one of seven sub-regions of EMEA Law & Compliance.
In the role of Nordic Compliance Officer, you will monitor and drive all compliance initiatives and policies in close collaboration with the Nordic Law & Compliance team. You will provide and conduct compliance oversight in the Nordics according to Aon's standards, policies, global risk and ethics standards and in accordance with local legislations. As the Nordic Compliance Officer, you will work closely with other colleagues within the Law & Compliance team and the business, both in EMEA and globally.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
In order to feel secure in your role and enjoy the tasks, we believe that you have a law degree from one of the Nordic countries and at least 5 years of work experience, either from an agency or company with operations in the financial industry. Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written) are required; proficiency in Swedish or another Nordic language is an advantage.
As a person, you have strong self-leadership with high integrity and radiate security and humility. You are a business and solution-oriented person who enjoys working in teams. To be successful, you communicate effectively with management and other stakeholders. Your communication skills are good, and accuracy and structure are in your DNA.
