Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a travel consultant.
• Strong understanding of the travel industry, including business and leisure travel.
• Native expertise in Global Distribution Systems (GDS), specifically Sabre.
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and integrity in handling personal traveler information.
• Ability to resolve customer issues independently and effectively.
• Military experience or certifications may substitute for some requirements.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate clients, both individuals and groups.
• Conduct research and analysis on travel options, anticipating traveler needs to offer additional services.
• Book domestic and international travel, including air, road, rail, and accommodations.
• Ensure compliance with travel policies and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize positive telephone service techniques and respond to special customer requests.
• Collaborate with team members to provide coaching and constructive feedback to enhance service levels.
