As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading daily bioprocess operations on the shop floor. You will work side-by-side with operators and technicians, ensuring production runs smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role where your decisions, presence, and ability to guide a team directly impact production performance and the delivery of biologic medicines to patients worldwide.
Where Leadership Meets Daily Operations
In this role, you will oversee manufacturing activities on your assigned shift, ensuring production aligns with approved procedures, batch records, and regulatory requirements. You will:
Beyond day-to-day production, you will contribute to deviation handling, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives - helping strengthen both processes and team performance.
A Visible Leader on the Shop Floor
As Supervisor, you will be a present and approachable leader, working the same hours as your team and supporting them in real time. Your leadership will focus on creating clarity, accountability, and collaboration within the team.
You provide guidance when challenges arise, ensure expectations are clear, and help team members develop their skills over time.
You will support onboarding, training, and qualification of employees while also conducting performance conversations and giving constructive feedback when needed.
This role requires someone who can balance operational focus with people leadership, building a strong team culture while ensuring production targets are met.
What Will Help You Succeed
We are looking for someone who combines solid GMP manufacturing experience with a strong leadership presence.
You likely bring:
• Experience working in biopharmaceutical or GMP-regulated manufacturing
• A bachelor’s degree in biotechnology, chemical engineering, life sciences, or equivalent practical experience
• Around 4–6 years of experience in production environments and some form of team leadership or coordination responsibility
• A strong understanding of GMP standards, EHS requirements, and manufacturing documentation
• Basic understanding and knowledge of Upstream processes and equipment
Experience in shift-based production, Lean principles, or continuous improvement is a plus. Equally important, you communicate clearly, stay composed under pressure, and take ownership of solving problems alongside your team.
