We’re currently looking for an Employability and Career Support Lead on a full time, permanent basis. This position sits within the Learning and Commercial team. We are flexible on the location of this role.

The role holder will lead ACCA’s employability agenda by coordinating and driving our global employability initiatives across the organisation.

The Job

Reporting to the Head of Employability and Commercial, on a day-to-day basis, you’ll be involved in the following:

  • Lead the development and delivery of ACCA’s employability propositions and set the strategy for promoting the propositions and career support resources to all customer segments
  • Collaborate with the business development leads to ensure members and future members are supported throughout their career journey
  • Embed employability propositions across ACCA and ensure these are understood in the marketplace
  • Develop and implement new employability and career skills initiatives, including incorporating AI-enabled solutions
  • Support Relationships teams in building partnerships with employers and other stakeholders to create opportunities for work experience, internships, international mobility and employment pathways for our members and future members
  • Continuously review and identify opportunities to strengthen our careers support resources
  • Use data, insights and research to identify barriers to employment and make informed recommendations for improving our employability and career support resources
  • Overall responsibility for ensuring the ACCA Careers job board continues to remain best in class and is accessible across all markets and channels
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality of delivery aligned to service level agreements and oversee effective operational delivery of ACCA Careers
  • Manages and delivers required outcomes for a portfolio of contracts with our ACCA Careers suppliers
  • Set the strategy for product enhancements, pricing, global growth and expansion into new markets and the commercial opportunities
  • Line management of the ACCA Careers Platform manager.

The Person

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant work experience in the professional education industry, ideally with international exposure and an employability background
  • A strong understanding of the education sector preferably in accountancy and a very good understanding of stakeholder needs
  • Proven experience in developing employability and career support strategies and implementing new initiatives and processes to enable delivery of the strategy
  • An understanding of local and national employment trends, training, and education
  • A commitment to supporting diverse groups of people, including those with barriers to employment
  • Demonstrates commercial and business acumen and ability to deliver tangible outcomes through working with others and demonstrate track record of achieving commercial success
  • Knowledge and experience of managing complex stakeholder relationships
  • Thorough understanding of the latest web usability including web analytics software.
