The Customer Experience & Engagement Team in 3Shape is a global team with the strategic responsibility to deliver on customer training, education, clinical consultancy, support and success. And we are looking for a Senior training and education manager (a specialist in Dental Lab, 3Shape) to join our Global Academy and Clinical Consultancy team.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of training and educating both our internal teams, and our customers, helping them master cutting-edge digital dentistry solutions. Your mission? To design and deliver impactful educational experiences that empower professionals and elevate patient care worldwide.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has a background as a dental technician, with strong experience in digital workflows – seeking growth opportunities in the digital dentistry industry
Has hands-on experience with CAD/CAM and 3Shape Dental System in a lab environment
Has a genuine passion for education and training, making complex concepts simple and exciting
Loves collaborating in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment where customer needs and understanding drives everything we do
Essential job duties:
Develop training and education materials for our workflow ecosystems – with specific focus on lab
Develop together with skilled instructional designers training and educational materials to be used online and in face-2-face training for both internal teams and our customers
Deliver training and education globally
Deliver hands-on training (online, in-office, and on-site) for internal teams, local offices, and external customers
Facilitate both standard and advanced workflow training with a strong focus on dental lab applications
Adapt training delivery to different experience levels, from onboarding to expert users
Take ownership of training sessions including preparation, execution, and follow-up
Advise customers and internal stakeholders on dental workflows and related solutions
Spar with, and advise customers on adoption and usage of 3Shape solutions to optimize workflows in clinic and lab
Contribute with dental workflow and product knowledge in product creation, marketing and other core internal functions
The role will come with some travel. You can expect 6-8 weeks/year.

Required qualifications:
Technical and product knowledge: Has deep practical experience in using 3Shape software Dental System, and being technical savvy
Customer orientation: Maintains commitment to customers and colleagues, provides them with positive and supportive experience. Collaborative with a high level of engagement and customer service
Professional presence: Demonstrates confidence and professionalism when interacting with customers and stakeholders and contributes to a safe learning environment
Stakeholder management: Ensures smooth collaboration across teams, through great stakeholder management; proactively ensures team and CXE leadership is up to date, and supports activities and initiatives through active and conscious communications
Problem-solving: Able to look for innovative, creative solutions to routine and new challenges, with a willingness to share results. Uses all types of resources available to resolve issues
Attention to detail and organization: Maintains detailed records, information, and organizes it in such a way that supports the organization and employees’ needs
Ethical conduct: Takes accountability for decisions and makes decisions that clearly adhere to industry regulations and an ethical standard
