The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to take a pivotal role in a corporate entrepreneurship project. You will work on next-generation solutions for the dental industry, and you will join an integrated multi-disciplinary team, where the hierarchy is flat, and things move fast. As a senior systems engineer, you will help us make confident, well‑founded decisions that will enable us to transform innovative concepts into finished products that our users will love and use! We are looking for a candidate that thrive in taking initiative and working closely with other disciplines.
To support you in succeeding in this project role, you will join our Systems Engineering team referring to our Head of Systems Engineering, and e.g., take part in recurring sessions of mentorship, as part of a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Today, the team of Systems Engineers comprises of nine engineers working across Requirements Management, Risk Management, Verification & Validation, as well as Usability Engineering.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for Design Inputs and Architecture Description
Be responsible for Risk Management activities in accordance with ISO 14971, ensuring safety and robustness in our solutions
Contribute actively to test planning and evaluation
Work independently on complex system tasks and proactively identify what needs to be done next
Bring clarity to decisions by understanding and bridging technical insight, user needs, and project priorities
Collaborate closely with cross-functional experts (mechanical, electronics, software, industrial design, Regulatory affairs, Scientific Affairs)
Your profile
Experience as a systems engineer in new product development within the medical device industry
Experience leading or coordinating system engineering activities, such as requirements, architecture, system integration and verification.
Strong experience executing risk management according to ISO 14971.
A structured, pragmatic mindset—able to simplify complexity and communicate clearly.
Motivation to work onsite with your colleagues daily in our Copenhagen office.
A desire to influence decisions and help maintain momentum in a fast‑paced environment.
