Commercial Manager (Maternity Cover)

We are looking for a motivated Commercial Manager (Maternity Cover) with comprehensive commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills. You will play a key role in building strategic partnerships while helping us advance dental innovation from our global headquarters in Copenhagen, right next to Kongens Nytorv.

About the Position

In this maternity cover role, you will help lead and support key partnership projects. You will work closely with our global partners to advance 3Shape’s strategic growth.

Reporting to the Head of Global Strategic Partnerships, you will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and engage directly with external stakeholders from our key partners. The position offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into 3Shape’s commercial ecosystem and can serve as a foundation for future roles within the team or across the organization.

This role is central to our Global Strategic Partnership goals. You will navigate a complex network of stakeholders and balance operational, technical, and commercial priorities to ensure effective collaboration and alignment across the organization. By supporting seamless partnerships, you will help our regional teams reach their goals.

This is a maternity cover position with an expected duration of approximately one year, though the exact length may vary.

Responsibilities

As Commercial Manager (Maternity Cover), you will:

• Help shape global strategic partnerships by supporting and leading key initiatives and aligning them with business goals.
• Coordinate daily operations to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery on partnership commitments.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges before they impact performance.
• Monitor partner performance to facilitate market growth and enhance collaboration.
• Work closely with internal teams—such as Product Management, Sales Operations, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, and Customer Support—to keep partnerships running effectively.
• Spot recurring bottlenecks and suggest practical improvements to make processes more efficient and scalable.
• Serve as the primary contact for external stakeholders, building reliable, transparent, and collaborative relationships.

Professional Competencies

We are looking for someone who can build relationships and deliver results in a changing environment:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a commercial role, strategic partnerships, or management consulting.
• Experience in managing initiatives at both the strategic and operational level.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid project management capabilities.
• Ability to manage your own tasks effectively and coordinate work across different teams.
• Master’s degree or equivalent required.
